My vision about the development and therefore the future of our world stands in direct relationship with what I promote. At Global Society I discuss my ideas about a future global civil society. Here is a list of some ideas for the advancement of human society:
Principles for a better future
Politics
- Decentralization as a directive
- Decisions with the human in mind
- Change of political targets and attitudes
- Respect of democratic principles
- Separation of powers
- Separation of politics and economy
- Ban on party donations
- Avoidance of violence - promotion of peaceful decisions
- Higher taxes on profits than on wages
Competition
- Fair trade and fair competition instead of destructive competition
- Prevention of monopolization by reinforcing of competitors
- Reinforcement of cartel offices to control competition more effectively
- Priority of local economic cycles
Environment
- Sustainable economy, especially with regards to use of resources
- Switch to use of regenerative sources of energy
Social Affairs
- Common "world ethos" of all religions
- Transformation of new ideas into common property
- Accessibility of information and education for all to enable freedom of choice
- Combating corruption and intolerance
- Compensation of domestic and global social hardship
- Limit of differences in earnings
It is my goal to contribute to such a development. In my opinion, the democratization of the EU by political action of the Newropeans is a necessary first step towards an essential participation by all European citizens.
As my personal ideas for a fairer globalisation exceed this, I not only advocate the agenda of the Newropeans but also other global solutions: http://fair-globalisation.net/
"I am aware that it will be hard to convince Manuel Barroso, Angela Merkel or Liz Mohn of my ideas. The best ideas and proposals, however, come into living via vivid discussion, in the course of which different views on reality are being linked with each other. This is the only way to bring a wind of change to a government where a few "representatives" have made themselves at home in the current paradigm."
